Do managers and supervisors get overtime?
- The OSH Code’s hours and overtime rules are for workers. A person employed mainly in a managerial or administrative capacity, or a supervisor drawing wages above ₹18,000 a month, is not a worker s. 2(1)(zzl).
- Where a minimum rate is fixed for an employee, the Code on Wages requires overtime at not less than twice the normal rate CW s. 14.
