Are the old labour Acts still in force?
- The Code on Wages repeals the Payment of Wages Act, the Minimum Wages Act, the Payment of Bonus Act and the Equal Remuneration Act s. 69(1).
- The Industrial Relations Code repeals the Trade Unions Act, the Industrial Employment (Standing Orders) Act and the Industrial Disputes Act s. 104(1).
- The Code on Social Security and the OSH Code repeal Acts including the EPF, ESI, Maternity Benefit, Gratuity, Factories, Mines and Contract Labour Acts SS s. 164(1) OSH s. 143(1).
