What employee numbers bring in each law?
- Ten or more workers make a place an establishment under the OSH Code OSH s. 2(1)(v).
- ESI starts at ten persons, provident fund at twenty employees, and gratuity at ten employees for shops and establishments First Schedule.
- Bonus starts at twenty persons CW s. 41(2), and standing orders at three hundred workers IR s. 28(1).
