How long do I have to claim accident compensation?
- Give notice of the accident as soon as practicable, and claim within two years of the accident, or of the date of death s. 82(1).
- If your employer is more than a month late in paying, the competent authority shall direct interest, and may add up to fifty per cent of the arrears as damages if there is no justification for the delay s. 77(3).
