Notice of periods of work

What to do
Display and correctly maintain a notice of periods of work, showing clearly for every day the periods during which workers may be required to work s. 31(1). Maintain it in Form XII at conspicuous places on a notice board or electronic board, and send a copy to the Inspector-cum-Facilitator electronically or by speed post rule 71.
Who it applies to
Every establishment s. 31(1). Under the OSH Code an establishment is a place in which ten or more workers are employed s. 2(1)(v).

When
Keep it on display, and intimate any proposed change in the system of work that needs a change in the notice to the Inspector-cum-Facilitator before the change is made s. 31(3).
How
Without the previous sanction of the Inspector-cum-Facilitator, no change may be made until one week has elapsed since the last change s. 31(3).
