What to do
Keep every site, its premises and its surroundings clean, hygienic and sanitary, and arrange the daily collection, storage, disposal or treatment of every type of waste under effective supervision rule 30.

Every employer of a building or other construction work rule 30.
When

How
Provide a place to store materials and equipment properly, and remove scrap, waste and debris at appropriate intervals rule 30(ii)–(iii).
Do not let loose materials accumulate where they obstruct access to or exit from workplaces and passageways rule 30(iv).
Clean slippery workplaces and passageways, or strew them with sand, sawdust, ash or the like rule 30(v).
Where a floor can become wet, maintain drainage, keep it dry and non-slippery, and give protective gear free of charge rule 30(vi).
