Registering building workers

What to do
Register the eligible building workers on your muster roll on the portal of the State Government, the State Building Workers’ Welfare Board or the designated portal of the Central Government, seeded with Aadhaar and the Universal Account Number rule 45(1).
Who it applies to
Every employer or contractor of building or other construction work rule 45(1). A worker is eligible who has completed eighteen years of age and is less than sixty years of age, with not less than ninety days of building or other construction work in the preceding twelve months rule 45(2), proviso.
When
Within 30 days of the worker becoming eligible rule 45(1).
How
When a registered worker moves from another State, obtain their unique registration number and update it on the destination State’s portal within thirty days of their joining your muster roll rule 45(9).
