What to do
Maintain suitable atmospheric conditions in workplaces, avoiding stagnant or vitiated air, harmful draughts, excessive heat or cold and sudden changes of temperature rule 34(i).

The employer of every industrial premise for the manufacture of beedi and cigar rule 34.
When
All the time rule 34.
How
Protect employees from extreme weather by changing working hours, or by giving protective clothes or other provisions free of charge rule 34(ii).
Provide mechanical ventilation where natural ventilation cannot give enough fresh air without uncomfortable draughts rule 34(iii).
