What to do
Keep the premises and surroundings sanitary and hygienic, keep walls, ceilings, windows and skylights clean, and arrange the daily collection, storage, disposal or treatment of waste under effective supervision rule 33.
Who it applies to
The employer of every industrial premise for the manufacture of beedi and cigar rule 33.
When
All the time rule 33.
How
Keep the floor of every workroom clean and, so far as possible, dry and non-slippery rule 33(iii).
Where wet processes are carried on, keep effective drainage, provide false floors, platforms, mats or other dry standing places, and give anti-skid footwear and protective gear without expense to the employees rule 33(iv).
As far as practicable, sweep and clean between work periods and in a way that does not raise dust rule 33(vi).
