How much notice is needed before a strike?
- A strike needs notice to the employer within the sixty days before striking, and cannot start within fourteen days of the notice s. 62(1)(a)–(b).
- A strike is also barred during conciliation proceedings and for seven days after them s. 62(1)(d).
- Under the Central Rules, notice is given in Form-XI rule 25(1).
