Who gets the wages of an employee who has died?
- Amounts payable under the Code are paid to the person the employee nominated s. 44(1)(a).
- If there is no nomination, or they cannot be paid to the nominee, they are deposited with the authority prescribed s. 44(1)(b).
- Leave wages are paid to the heir or nominee within two months OSH s. 32(1)(vi)(b).
